For the long time “Sovetsk Paper” was the only producer of long-fibre sulphite bleached pulp from pine trees in the European part of Russia. Its continuous use by many European and Russian paper producers were confirming the high quality of our pulp.


After the start of the production of the viscose/dissolving pulp range of consumers of the pulp were extended by manufacturers of textile and industrial viscose fibers.

But due to the various reasons the production of the pulp at the site of Sovetsk Pulp & Paper mill were stopped in year 2008.In spite of it all of the pulp production facilities are on the conservation and ready to be restated in short time.

Due to the mentioned above reasons Sovetsk PPM constantly searching for investors or partners for participation in the project of development of viscose/dissolving or paper pulp production using existing facilities. We are ready to examine all possible variations of cooperation – starting with direct sale of pulp production facilities and finishing with joint partnership for the restart and development of the pulp manufacturing with interested participant-investor.
