Senior Ruby Developer (m/f) for Germany

Our client is a young, well funded startup with a revolutionizing shopping search engine as a product. The company was founded in 2013 and the team consists of approximately 20 people with international background.

Currently they are looking to grow their IT department with experienced experts.

Responsibilities

Help engineer and build their backend systems in-line with their product requirements.

Tackle big data sets and suggest ways to optimize them.

Work closely with the Product Management team to develop new ideas & implement them.

Connect with the Backend team to integrate data into your interfaces.

Necessary Qualifications:

A strong understanding (min 3 years) of Ruby and its associated tools & frameworks (Bundler, Rails, Sinatra).

Experience building and consuming restful APIs.

Knowledge of testing Ruby code using tools like Rspec & Cucumber.

A Github account or some code samples.
