The Nikon D610 with 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 VR lens is designed for the serious enthusiast photographer and builds upon the success of the D600. The Nikon D610 offers many advanced features found in Nikon’s D4 and D800 cameras including the EXPEED 3 image processing engine, a 3.2” 912k dot resolution LCD screen and advanced video controls. The 24.3-megapixel sensor and wide ISO range of 100-6400 (extendable to 50-25,600) delivers outstanding levels of detail and tonal range, even in situations where there is minimal light. The newly developed shutter mechanism offers an increased shooting speed of 6 fps or 3 fps in its Quiet Continuous mode. The Nikon D610 records Full HD movies in 30p, 25p and 24p, with 60p, 50p and 25p options at 720p. Other notable features include a 39-point AF system with 9-cross types, an optical viewfinder with 100% coverage, dual SD-card slots and a refined auto white balance system.
